Thunderbird Lodge is open daily. Thunderbird Lodge has been actively monitoring Texas and Burnet County’s response efforts and guidance for COVID-19. The health and safety of our guests and employees remain our central focus and we are committed to minimizing the impacts of COVID-19 exposure in our community. The resort staff is working side-by-side with public health experts including the Centers for Disease Control and will continue to do so. As of March 12, 2020: Our existing lodging cancellation policy remains intact; however, we are honoring all refunds for guests who have pre-purchased travel insurance. .
